Granite
Granite is an intrusive igneous rock composed of quartz, potassium and sodium feldspars with common accessory minerals. Granite has a crystalline surface due to slow cooling and solidifying of lava under thick cover of the earth’s crust. Colour of granite associated with or influenced by feldspar and uniform colour distribution is one of the desirable feature of granite. Almost white, light grey, dark grey, green, pink, and red granites are common. Granite is hard and durable natural stone with low porosity, which makes it an excellent choice for both internal and external applications.
